new build will these work together

a8n-sli mobo,2gigs corsair value select(4x512),wd200 gig sata hard drive,geforce 6200 pci-e vid card(not much gaming),ultra x finity 500 watt psu,benq light scribe dvd burner,light on dvd rom,amd athlon 64 x2 4200, thank,s for any reply,s.

If you're not a gamer you really don't need a SLI motherboard. And you may not even need 2GB of RAM unless you're using AutoCAD or PhotoShop.

I'd stay away from Ultra power supplies too.

thanks for the reply cricket,I WILL BE SHARING THIS COMP WITH MY WIFE AND SHE DOES WANT TO USE PHOTOSHOP AND WITH A GRAND DAUTER AROUND ALOT I AM SORT OF LOOKING AHEAD A LITTLE BIT,AND I THOUGHT ULTRA WAS ADECENT PSU.

Lightscribe drives are awesome! Ultra doesn't look like they make reliable parts. They're always so cheap price wise. I'd go to something with a more secure brand name. Best of luck with the build. Looks like a good system.

Get a better PSU like OCZ or Sparkle. Also If you don't plan on gamming, as cricket said, go with a lower model board as it will be cheaper and work just as well.

I'd replace the SLI board with an A8N-E or an A8N5X. Replace the Ultra PSU with an XClio 450 watt and the 6200 card with a Radeon X series without Hypermemory - the X550 is the best budget card right now.

thank,s for all your reply,s,the reason i bought the ultra psu is that i found it in the psu sticky at the top of the page and plus it look,ed realy good.again thanks to all for the reply,s you all have been abig help.
