micro atx psu?
Hey all, brand new to the forum. I am sure that someone else somewhere has bashed this question into the ground, but I got relatively few good hits using the search function. I bought an Aspire X-QPack micro atx case, which from all that I have read is a great micro case. The questions I have are r egarding the power supply. Many people do not seem to trust Aspire's PSUs, some people have reported good things about them (at least as far as this case is concerned). Anyone on the board have experience with these? The case did have some ncie features, most notably a removable mobo tray, CPU/HD temperature displays, a decently large fan, and a small footprint (I found a micro atx board that I liked, and don't want to build a full size tower, but a compact cube would be pretty fun). Worst to worst, I figure that I could swap out PSUs. I have read some newegg reviews where people had reported stuffing in an ATX form PSU, but had to use Lite-On brand optical drives for clearance (I guess they are a little shorter than most). Does anyone know where I would be able to pick up a decent micro-atx PSU, something in the range of 450+ watts? Also, one last thing, with SATA power cables, is it one power cable per jack? or would one SATA power connector power the whole board? If it is a one-to-one thing, 2 SATA connectors would be a good thing (the case has room for 2 HDs, and I would like to run SATA, since it is available, and faster from what I have read). Thanks in advance for any information you can share. I have been browsing the PSU FAQ, but I haven't run across anything concerning micro atx yet.
