Should I test the processor....
Alright so i did the out of box check and it didnt work... so then i took apart my own computer and tested each part and each one works so now I have narrowed the problem down to either the Mobo or Processor. My mobo is the same socket as his and i was wondering if there was a risk in testing his processor in my pc... Should I try or not? All the lights and fans come on when I turn it on so I think the motherboard is good and im leaning toward the procsessor.
Thanks, Sir Ify |

I went through the same thing last weekend and I did both. Then you will know exactly what component is bad.
