That brand is listed in the "Good" section and is also highlighted as being one for a "high-end" build.

Ive used it in a build, awhile ago and had no problems. Since then, ive heard a number of people report problems with Ultra and im not sure about there quality control. So i wouldent use another one in a build, id rather not take the chance.

One of my friends built a computer with 2 6800 GTs and he used a cheap brand SLI rated PSU, it never worked right, kept rebooting he RMA'd it they sent him another, it did the same thing, they refused to refund so he got stuck with it and then ended up buying an Antec.

This Antec is one of the best on the market right now and $25 less with the rebate.
As far as the PSU reference thread, it could use a little updating on the good/bad list. Also I noticed you are linking to tiger direct, which has a very poor reputation. Stick with Newegg or Zipzoomfly if you can.

I highly recommend OCZ.
I got the modsteam 520W with 26amps on the +12v rail and it runs my rig easily. Im not exactly sure what that means, but as far as I know the more amps on that line the better. The ONLY drawback I have with it is that the cables are pretty firm..not very pliable, so be careful with your SATA connectors. |
