I would consider an Asus over an Abit for a motherboard. They are more stable, very easy to install and their customer support is outstanding.
For power supply don't risk it, I would go with an OCZ or an Antec. The rest of the hardware listed looks real good and will work very well. As far as Ram I highly recommend either Kingston or Crucial, those are probably the best out there.

I have it and it works great my processor's temp never goes over 32C and my case temp is never higher than 30C, it looks beautiful too, has a lot of space to work in it and has lots of room to expand.

cases are matter of preferences, i dont like the looks of these turtle cases, or whatever there called. im sure it works well, and for that price it isnt cheap. but like i said cases are matter of preferences so if you like it stick with it, i personaly prefer the Antec's SonataII for the silence

![]() I was just concerned that you may have a technical reason why you did not like them since I own one. |

Driver support for WinXP 64 is pretty lame right now. Go with the regular WinXP.

I agree. 64bit computer probably won't reach its potential for a few years, it needs some time for the software to catch up with the hardware, which is usually the case for any new technology. basic Windows XP Home or Pro will do. You can pick up the OEM version (which means no fancy packaging or documentation- just the CD) off newegg for around $90 USD Last edited by MakeYourslf2012; 01-19-2006 at 10:47 AM. |
