After doing quite a bit of research I picked out the above hardware for my first build. Can somebody make sure evrything is compattible?

Also if you have any suggestions or ways to cut costs, please let me know!
My goal is to stay under $400, I think below is a pretty solid system for the price ($369.73 w/o shipping)

I also have a few questions:

Will the included PSU from the case work on my mobo? the motherboard is a uses a 20 pin connector for the power.

I also am wondering what "prescott" means, I have searched but could not find the anwser.

Thanks!

Yes, that PSU will work. The motherboard power connector is a 20 + 4 connector...you just detach the 4 pin part of the connector.

Prescott is just the name given to that particular P4 processor core. Previous names were Williamette and Northwood...just names to identify the cores.

The components are compatible with each other...but you might want to change the IDE hard drive to a SATA model.
