What do you think of this for a new first time PC build
This is my ideas for a new PC build (my first one) has anybody got any comments/suggestions or anything that I've missed out. I am going to be using some speakers that I've already got.

Not bad. I would go with a Lite-On DVD writer instead of the Pioneer. If you are going to go SLI in the future, I would also make sure that the PSU is SLI-certified. Also, I would go with at least 1 GB of memory.

Thanks, I was thinking of getting 1GB of RAM a bit later when I had a bit more money!! Does anyone know if the liberty is SLI certified just for future reference.

Really the minimum for a gaming PC is 1 gig of RAM - I wouldn't use less if you are going to game.
Whoa - I just looked up the price of that RAM and you could get a dual channel kit (2 x 512MB) from Corsair (Value Select) for less money. That RAM is overboard (even if you wanted to overclock with it, you'll get a bigger "overclock" by getting a gig of value RAM), just get some Corsair VS. Never heard of that brand of video card either.

You might want to look at the 16Mb cache hard drives from Seagate or Western Digital.

I would choose a more notible VC for that build..... I also agree you can save money by getting the Crucial value select ram over Ballistic which I personally never heard of..

The video card is a geforce 7800GT (it's just abbreviated in the name of that card). Here my revised list taking in your considerations:
