How the heck do I mount this...

I'm using the Antec P180 as my case and the manual isn't helping me much with installing a DVD drive. It's tellling me to put a rail in and I've shoved it in everyway I could think of without breaking one of the rails.

Send a message via AIM to FLG
The rail's goes on the side's of the DVD drive, and then then it slides into the case. Also If it sticks out to far, then use the other holes on the drive.

Drive rails are first screwed on to the drive then the whole thing is slid into the drive cage and fastened (screwed or locked, depending on case) in place.
The thing to remember is that they're attached to the drive first.
Read the PCMech "How to.." page on installing cd(dvd)-rom drives with rails : http://www.pcmech.com/byopc/step/14/

Did you install the rail to the side of the DVD drive like the one in the attached picture?

Drive then slides into the bay as shown in second attached picture.

I think I covered just about everything. Things to take note of: the memory, DVD, and hard drive aren't accurate in the links I posted. I didn't buy any of this off NewEgg so I couldn't them listed there. I just found an item that closely matched the ones I bought.

Okay, sorry for the triple post.

pam123, I followed the directions in your link and the thing boot up. It didn't beep or anything, but it boot up with a display and all.

...What now?

EDIT: I think I found the problem. It was the two memory moduled. For some reason, having two in there makes it not boot up. What gives?

The ram module or the ram slot could be faulty. Also it may not have been fully seated.
Try the ram modules one at a time, if one stick fails and you bought them as pair then both have to be rma'ed.
If they pass individually check to make sure you're running them in proper dual channel mode ( read the manual for set up requirements), if they work in one set of dual channel slots but not in the other then the motherboard is the problem.

Okay, memory problem fixed. Windows is installed. New problem: Windows shuts itself down and gives me a blue screen about my stuff not being ACPI compatible.

EDIT: Nevermind. Problem solved.
