Couple questions:
1)If you get a power supply with much more wattage than you need, will it fry your system? (used the wattage calculator and came up with 270W, and I was plannning on getting a 430W power supply) 2)How do you know if all the parts are compatible? Specifically, is the RAM compatible with the mobo, and do the HD, cpu, etc all have the right power connectors on the mobo and on the power supply. mobo http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16813136159 RAM http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16813136159 Any help is appreciated |

1) No, the PSU only puts out as much as your computer needs. The wattage rating is a maximum.
2) Check your links, they both go to the motherboard. |

Yes, that RAM should work with that board. Haven't heard of that brand, though, so I can't say anything about its quality.

Which power supply are you looking at? You need ATX 2.0 with a 24 pin connector for that motherboard. Anything much under 50 bucks would not be a safe bet.
