Only if one of them is a Crossfire Edition card - and even then we don't know if an AIW is compatible. Crossfire ties them together, they will not work independently anyway. Crossfire is still in its early stages with a lot of issues to work out.

Yeah, Nvidia is ahead of the game in the dual video card thing so I think with this new build Im going to be sticking to SLI. One more quick question so I don't start a thread...What cord would I need to connect both my video cards to monitor using SLI (after looking at the crossfire demo I see they use crossfire cord connected both GPU's then into the monitor).

SLI works the same way - the bridge connector goes between the 2 cards inside the box. The monitor connects to one of the cards - I dunno which one though, never actually saw one in action.

Since they operate as one I doubt it matters which one the monitor is hooked up to, a matter of preference I suppose.

I would not assume that. I would think there's some kind of master and slave relationship.

Alliance, you can always go with another tuner such as this PowerColor one (ATI also has a PCI version), or this PCIE equivalent card.

Nope, standard monitors work.

There's an external cable that connects the two CF cards, and I believe you plug the monitor into the master card since that's where the "compositing engine" is.
