I don't get a video display-HELP

I tried to build my PC I think I have everything right but my video does not display

I have an asrock, P4VM800 with a celeron D

it has integrated video.

I turn on the computer and everything seems ok but nothing displays on the monitor. I checked and rechecked the connections but nothing seems to work

any ideas?

Follow the instructions in this thread.

http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?t=132409

It determines whether your motherboard is shorting out on your case.

Another common cause of no display is forgetting to connect the extra 12v 4-pin connector. If your MB requires it, it'll be along the top of your board near the CPU.

Can you also please post the full specs of your system including the brand and wattage of your power supply.

freakitchen that is exactly what the problem was!!! the 12v 4-pin connector was not hooked up to the MB. As soon as it was it worked like a charm,

THANKS!
