ccApp

Everytime i close my computer i get an error message thats trying to end the programe ccApp. Does anyone know how i can stop that from happening. What is ccApp anyway???

Very easy - uninstall Norton and install AVG.

ccApp usually hangs on shutdown because Norton is trying to scan a non existant floppy drive. Go into the advanced options of the auto protect features in your Norton Antivirus program and disable the feature "scan floppy on shutdown" ccApp should now shutdown normally when you turn off your PC. I had this exact problem and this fix worked for me.

i will agree with you all the way. i used to use norton but it started playing up. now i use zonealarm and AVG. i find this setup works well and will recommend it to anyone.
