NEW BUILD for a friend...thoughts?

i'm looking at this for a friend...
not a gaming computer, but he may do some casual gaming.

200$ canadian bucks for 1 Gig of ram, that's expensive. Since you didn't mention overclocking I would recommend CORSAIR VALUE SELECT 1GB (2x512MB) for $81 (American).

Note
the RAM i recommended has CAS LATency of 2.5 but you won't notice anything big from that CAS 2

good point on the RAM...i should know better!

there's been talk of newegg coming to canada, but it's been talk for a year now.
maybe one day...

BTW, how does everything look as far as compatibility goes.

thoughts?
