Question New PC

Hey guys, itīs been long since my last post but here I am....
Well, I wanna know if there are any compatibility issue with this build...thanks...
MB: Asus P5ND2-SLI Deluxe
Proc: P4 3.2Ghz emt64 socket LGA775
Ram: 2x Kingston DDR2 1GB
HD: Seagate 250GB SATA
Opticals: DVD recorder and CD recorder DVD reader, both from LG
Video: Geforce 6800GT PCI-X 256MB

If you're buying a DVD writer it will write to CD-R and CD-RW as well.
The only thing you need is a DVD-ROM to read it all. Get one of those and save some cash for something else.

Also are you planning on sli? - If not, then get a non sli board, it will save you money

You will need to get a copy of windows.
You might need a floppy drive at some point in the setup

Hi guys, thanx for all the answers, here r the replies for u...

pam, I live in Brazil, here the price for the DVD-Rom is the same as the CD-Writer/DVD-Rom, thatīs why I have choosen this....

786, the psu and case r already bought and I checked if they r compatible....thanx...

jayb, I already have a windows xp professional, n I forgot to mention the floppy, but Iīm getting one....

You must have a SLI certified power supply if you ever want to use SLI. You also want a quality ATX 2.0 (24 pin) power supply even if you don't go SLI. A cheap one is just asking for trouble (like the ones that come in most cases) - that's a high powered rig that needs clean stable power. What brand and wattage is it?

Also, I've heard some problems with Kingston RAM lately....you might consider a different brand (like Corsair).

You can only use a copy of XP on one computer. If you already are using that copy, you'll need a new copy.
