sound card?

do i need a sound card? i've got an ABIT KN8 board, so i've got intergrated sound (i think, first build =D). i'm making the computer for gaming, but sound isn't very important to me when i play games. but would the fine people here recommend that i do get one? and if so, which? thanks!

If you don't care much about sound quality, then you don't need a sound card. However, some sound cards will reduce the stress on the CPU to produce the Game sounds, and thus, improve the # of FPS in your gaming. It can go either way. If you already have good speakers - onboard sound is going to masacre their full potential, but if you have alright speakers, a sound card isn't going to be able to do much.
