My list is above, so could you give me some suggestions, especially the CPU part. (What about 4400+ X2?) Actually, I am gonna use it for 3D animation design, picture design and PC game. But you know what, students are usually poor, and in budget, so....... I am in Canada actually. The total price is 2400 CA$. I have to range my budget no more than 2600. Could u help me that? Thxs. |

If you need to cut the cost, the first thing to go would be the sound card. Use the onboard sound, if it's not up to your standards you can put a card in later. You also don't need the Zalman - just use the stock HSF that comes with the retail PIB. If you don't plan on adding the second video card, you can save by getting the standard A8N-E or A8N5X instead of the SLI board. For that use, the X2 dual core may be a good way to go. You also don't need XMS ram, value ram will work just fine.
