Trouble with HP Pavilion 560w
Working on a friend's HP Pavilion 560w. Her original complaint was that the modem quit working. Well, when i attempt to boot this computer all I get is the following error message, "NTLDR is compressed press control-alt-delete to restart". When you do this it's just an endless loop. Restarts and you see the splash screen for a couple of seconds then the same message appears. Not sure what's going on here. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Check the last post in this thread. Looks like the right answer to me. I think you can use any XP cd to boot the Recovery Console.
