Question New computer won't work and annoying beeping sound

I recently started building a new computer and got all the hardware in. When it came to booting the computer no signal is sent to the monitor all that happens is the cpu fans, hard dirve and everything else turns on but like i said no signal is sent to the monitor. There is also a beeping sound that comes from the pc speaker and after about seven beeps the computer shuts off. Am I supposed to have a BIOS disk to boot off of?

Thanks

If the system is beeping you have a hardware issue that needs to be resolved. Please post the complete system specs for this computer including the power supply.

Did you make sure the video card and RAM are fully inserted into their respective slots?

Is the heatsink on the CPU installed correctly...is it making full contact with the raised part of the CPU?

Do you have access to another compatible power supply that you can swap in to test with? That TurboLink power supply is rubbish.

I never knew Aspire made motherboards, are you sure that's who the manufacturer is?

Are you sure the other components are compatible with that motherboard? Like what brand RAM are you using?

Sorry about that the Power supply is an Aspire 500w AtX and the Mother board is a gigabyte. The Ram is 2x 512 sticks by Patriot.
