Check out these codes:

There's nothing for just one long beep, but possibilities are RAM or video card failure.

Im worried about my RAM, can someone tell me if my RAM is compatible. Ive reseated the RAM and both CPU's and I have reset the CMOS jumper and I still get one really long beep. Ive tried the RAM in slots 1,2 and 1,3.

I just swapped the graphics card and I still get the same long beep. Im starting to think my RAM is not seated in the right slots or one (or both) of my CPU's are messed up. Any other Ideas?????

Try one ram stick at a time, in all slots. Do this with the board out of the case on the table.

I put one stick of RAM in slot 2 and I got a different beep code. I got just a bunch of continuous long beeps. I started counting them, but i stoped after i realized that there was no pattern, or set number. It was just going to keep beeping untill i turned it off. Now when i put RAM in any slot I dont get any beeps anymore. Really confused as to what is going on.

Does that motherboard support those Opterons?

Have you checked to see if either Opteron has bent pins?

Yes the Motherboard does support my CPU's. No bent pins as far as I can see.

PowerSupply!

I was outside the country for a while running my PC where everything was 220. When I came back and hooked my machine without switching my PSU back to 110 I got the same long beep. I don't know if thats the problem, but just make sure that little switch in the back of your PSU is right. Wishful thinking maybe, but it would be nice if the problem were that simple!

Single long beeps do generally mean there is an issue with RAM. Make sure you CLEAR the CMOS with the jumper or by removing the battery. Then do as suggested by inserting one stick of ram at a time in different slots.

Are you able to test this RAM in another computer or some other known good RAM in this computer? If so, try that and see what the results are.

Sorry I havent answered any of your questions, I got caught up in helping a friend build his computer. I just received a D-Led from MSI and when I plug it in and try to boot, I get 4 green lights which the book says is a sign that the OS is booting, but still one long beep and no video. I checked the power on the back and Im at the right voltage. Ive cleared CMOS jumper many times. And I cannot test the RAM in another machine.

Ive come to the conclusion that the D-Led is not to be trusted considering the fact that no matter how I re-arrange parts in my computer I still get 4 green lights. Even when I completely remove all my RAM. Its just another headache.

I dont get any beeps when I put RAM from the another computer of mine in to my new system. Its basically the same, the only thing that differs is its not ECC. Im going to order new RAM and hopefully that solves it.
