splat Power supply

Right now I have an Antec 350W ATX12V 20 pin power supply. It is powering a computer that consists of:

Abit AN8 motherboard (non SLI)
Athlon 64 3200+ @ 2GHz (stock)
2x512 DDR400 Dual Channel Geil Ram @ 2-4-4-8-1T w/ 2.65V (up from 2.60V)
eVGA nVidia 6800 256MB @ 325/600 w/ 12 pipes (stock settings)
16x DVD-Rom
Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS

I want to purchase this power supply as soon as I have the money.

This is SLI certified I know. I may, in the future, upgrade to an SLI board/setup, etc.

I have an Antec case, the Lanboy (the original one not the super, etc.), and have had great performance from my current antec psu. I was wondering if the power supply would fit in my current case, how do i tell if it will fit, and, this seems like a stupid question but I just want to make sure, is this power supply a 24 pin model? I'm pretty sure it is but I just wanted to clarify. Also can somebody give me links to sites on how to install a power supply? Lastly, I have pretty much decided that this will be the psu that I buy, but, if anybody has any suggestions, I am open.

Thanks,
Alex

no question is a stupid question. it is better to ask than to order something that wont work. nowadays, pc's have what is called a form factor. now it is ATX and BTX may replace it in the future. as long as the power supply is of ATX-form factor and so is your case, then it will fit. same thing goes for motherboards as well. to answer your question, yes that power supply will fit fine.

Installing a power supply isn't hard. Just take the screws out that are holding it to the back panel and it should come right out. Reverse the order for the new supply.....put it in the case, line up the holes and put the screws back in to hold it in place. Just make sure your fans are pointed the right ways. If there's only one fan, it goes pointed out the back. If there's two fans (like the supply you linked to), the same one goes pointed to the back and the other fan goes pointed down from the top of the case. I don't think the screw holes will line up for you to install it wrong anyway, but there's always strange situations that pop up every now and then.
