Exclamation Need help with my computer!!

This is the first time i have built a computer. i have hooked all the components up and the drives. I started it up and all the fans work. The computer stays on for a few seconds then turns off by itself. I was wondering what i can do to fix this?

sounds like overheating to me.. I'd first try and check your temps by getting into your BIOS.. If your temps are high you probably need to take off and put your heatsink back on properly.. AMD or Intel? Post back with your temps please..

Maybe a little more info about the rig? CPU? PSU? MoBo? Let us know if it was your heatsink not being seated right. A common problem and usualy things like this are realy simple to fix so don't worry.

Check to see that the heatsink is properly seated over the cpu.. Make sure the ram is seated properly.. You might want to try the out of the box build here..
