my recommendation is look on newegg.com your cpu alone was 134$ cheaper on there.
and I wounldn't get a Sli motherboad, it will come out cheaper if you dont. seeing as you have only one video card. Last edited by Foosa; 02-12-2006 at 03:18 PM. |

ASUS A8N-E will work nicely if you're looking for a single slot PCI-E motherboard.

I would definately go with an SLI if you had already planned on spending the cash for one. And if you shop on Newegg its going to be a good deal cheaper anyway.
I'de spring for the SLI board now and it will save you from having to buy a new mobo sooner then later. The only thing with that is if you choose to use the SLI feature later on you will have to buy two new video cards because that radeon won't work in an SLI set up. P.S. well poo as far as the newegg idea goes :/ haha 'tis a shame. |

If you are getting an ATI video card, get a single slot motherboard such as an Asus A8N-E or A8N5X.
You do not need a heatsink - the processor comes with a good one. You do not need a network card - the motherboard will have one onboard. You do not need HyperX ram - value ram is plenty good, you will never notice the difference unless you plan on overclocking. Why a DVD burner and a CD burner? A DVD burner will burn CD's. |

Just an ignorant-type of question, why would you need a network card if your motherboard comes with LAN ports already installed?
