Hard Drive Found By BIOS but not working!
Just finished slotting my new baby together and have a few problems.
My main problem is that the BIOS recognises my HD no problem eg:Make,Model No,Capacity all come up in BIOS, however XP install disk says 'cannot find any Hard Disks Installed On This Computer. Also I have to wait for an eternity for the computer to even get to the BIOS stage ie: everything seems extremely sluggish - long pauses between processes. Any details on my motherboard etc can be found in my previous post - aargh new pc startup hell. Many thanks |
