Double check the connections to the motherboard and check the names on the case wires and the mother board. Many times the two will use different names or abbrivations for the power switch. May need to do a little detective work to match the wires to the pins.

Have you ever gotten any display, even when running it out of the case?
First, make sure the video card is properly seated; sometimes they hang up.
Is your heatsink installed properly? The fact your computer turns on and then turns off might mean it is overheating, not that there is a problem with the power switch. Make sure the heatsink is seated properly. Do you have all the power connectors correctly connected? List your specs, to include the make of your PSU.

Is the square 4 pin power connector near the CPU plugged in?
Some ASUS boards also have a 4 pin (1 x4) connector that they call EZ Plug for added power for the video card, if your board has that is it connected.
Also what specific brand and model is your poweer supply?

That board probably needs a bios update to run a 930D processor.

That board is certified by Intel for the 930, but it needs bios 0606 or newer.
