Question on upgrading...

Since I am a total noob at building computers I was wondering if it would be possible to use my curret HD with WinXP already on it in an entirely new computer that I plan to build. I was just wondering if it would casue any problems booting up a brand new computer using my already existing drive to save some money and not have to buy a new windows disk. By probelms I mean possible compatability issues between my already existing drivers from old hardware and if that would mess up my new stuff.

Thanks for any help. n_n;;

It is possible to use the existing hard drive in the new build. What OS is on the drive? With XP, you will have to boot with the XP CD and do a repair reinstall.
