Booting problem (video card) no display, please help!

OK I built:

Asus a8n-e mobo
2 gigs ocz ram
evga 7800gt
antec smartpower 2 500w
AMD opteron 165 processor

So I connected the monitor to the gfx card, booted up, and it goes 1 long beep, 2 short beeps. I know thats a video adapter problem, but I tried also using a PCI gfx card and it Still doesn't work (no display). Is it a mobo problem? What should I do?

Thanks.

That motherboard requires bios version 1010 or newer to support an Opteron.
