Im planing on building a comp. mainly for work, which means I would run few applications at the same time (Illustrator, photoshop, InDesing), I would also store some music on the machine and play some games from time to time. Im not looking for some out of roof gaming system (I would love to but cant afford it). Parts that Im planning to buy are :

CPU: Intel Pentium 4 531 Prescott 800MHz FSB LGA 775 EM64T Processor Model BX80547PG3000EK $184.00
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.8 ST3250823AS 250GB 7200 RPM Serial ATA150 Hard Drive - OEM $103.00
RAM: G.SKILL Extreme Series 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 533 (PC2 4200) Unbuffered System Memory Model F2-4200PHU1-1GBLA - $77.99 (I'll get two of these)
Pri Optical: I'll use one that I already have (from old comp.)
Sound Card: Using what comes with the mobo… for now
Video Card: Leadtek GeForce 6200 / Supporting 256MB Turbo Cache / PCI Express / VGA / DVI / HDTV / Video Card $49.99
FDD: old one ....
Keyboard/Mouse: Using old ones… for now
Modem: old one....
Lan: not sure of the need
Monitor: old one....
Speakers: Using old ones… for now
Headphones: some old that I got
OS: Windows XP Home Edition + SP2
Any help on : Would this work together ? Do I need any extra stuff to make it happen ? Any Suggestion would be greatly appriciated.
Thank You !

No, the power supply that comes with that case is not suitable.

Replace that Intel board with an Asus - one of the P5LD2 series.

You do not need Extreme ram - get a 2x1gb dual channel kit of Corsair Value Select DDR2 533.

Do not get a Turbocache video card. If you must for budget reasons, drop the ram down to a 2x512mb ram kit and get a 6600GT.

RAM replaced with :
CORSAIR ValueSelect 1GB (2 x 512MB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 533 (PC2 4200) Unbuffered Dual Channel Kit System Memory Model $88.99

P450-8566 :: XFX GeForce 6600 GT / 256MB DDR2 / PCI Express / SLI / Dual DVI / HDTV / Video Card (1 lbs) $144.99

Would this work now ?

Now for the power supply. What do you recommend ? or is there a case in the sam price range that I should look into?

Thank you for your kind help.

If you can afford an Antec Sonata II, that comes with an excellent power supply.

if you still want that case, which is your call, get the enermax noisetaker 485 watt PSU. this is by a very reputable company for a reasonable price. that, and get, at least the 6800GT. this gives you far more pixel pipelines in order to enable shadows in games, AA/AF, and other settings.

You should get the Intel 630. It's slightly cheaper, a bit newer and twice as much L2 cache.

Oki I switched Intel 531 with Intel 630.
6800GS is awsome and not that much more expensive than the one that I decided to go with but my budget just can not take it.
Thanks a lot guys for your help I'll order parts in the morning and I'll keep you updated on my first project !
