The past few weeks i've been having many power blackouts here where i live. I always find my new computer off when i come back from school because the power have went out. It happens so many times.Once it went off while i was playing quake 4 and i got so mad. Can this cause windows to crash after a while or is my computer going to be ok?
I keep it on all the time and defrag once a month with diskeeper.

It might be a good idea to invest in a surge protector or even a UPS...
Also, I would recommend NOT having your PC on all the time if the blackouts are that frequent, so as to minimize the chance of having your hardware get fried. mike |
