LN11451 I assume it is the CPU Fan/Cooler/Heatsink, it's going to be noisy coming in around 38.5 dbl the case PSU is not going to do it 300W is just not enough anymore. Better to buy a case with no PSU and get a good quality one shoot for an Antec, or another of similar quality . I don't use Foxconn mobo's I could not give you an evaluation on that

Good choice on the motherboard change.
As for a PSU, try the Antec TruePower 430 on this page: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatal...Antec_103.html

Excellent choice for the motherboard.
I would change the power supply to this: http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=284214 The key to buying power supplies is not just watts, but quality. And Enermax is one of the best.

excellent - thanks for the psu tip!
i have now changed the graphics card to http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=200306 but i have real concerns that i am wasting money on the card with the budget monitor i have. I am now way past my budget and can not go any higher! http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=229924 |

I don't think you will need that motherboard if you don't plan on gaming. you should go with a non-sli one that use pci-e from your original plans it doesn't look like you will be...but it's your own choice
