PC Randomly Shutting down after sound card install

So I just installed a SoundBlaster Audigy 2zs sound card into my system and now it randomly shuts down. When it does it's like power was cut to the system. Only once has it happened when I was at my pc using it, all other times it was idle. My temps on my mobo, processor, and vid card are all normal I think. 46 degrees C on the vid card, 41 degrees C CPU, and 48 degrees C on the mobo when idle. My only thought is that it is a heat related problem, that I possibly messed up my cases air flow when I installed the sound card or something.

Is there anything else that may be causing the problem?

Is there a utility that would monitor my system and give some feedback as to what happened right before a crash?

Is there maybe a utility I can use to monitor temps on my hard drives and the sound card?

Ya'll are great and I have faith that you'll be able to help me out here. Thanks in advance!

~JEFF!

What slot did you put the sound card in?? One thing you could try is this:
Uninstall the sound card in software and or device manager, shut down the PC, remove the sound card and try a different slot..

Creative also has an AUTO UPDATE feature on there website, though it's controlled by active x. I would suggest you make sure to update the drivers AFTER you do as ktkendall suggested. One of my PC's won't boot with the soundcard in PCI 1 so simply changing a slot can resolve your issue.
