If it's screaming at you and turning itself off check the heatsink fan combo and review your steps when installing it.
Video cards also overheat but they don't usually scream at you unless something else is wrong as well.
Post the bios you have and the beep pattern since it's telling you what's wrong where.

Works just fine out of the case and doesn't work in it?
A single beep 2 seconds after start-up means it's working fine, that's the "all's right with the world" beep.
So what in the case is messing with your graphics card/monitor?
An errant piece of bent metal?
The case slot for the PCI-E card forcing it a little out of true ?

I can't tell you if a little more pressure would work because I'm not there to judge and I'm not a graduate of the school of "make it fit". Since the video is fine out of the case it's not a matter of seating the card fully in the slot.
That Raidmax cost a good deal less than the card so send it back even if you have to pay a restocking fee.
Do a search of the build lists on this forum and check out signatures so you can ask about their choice in cases for SLI now/future set ups.
You can also google case reviews and find out what sites like Tomshardware, Anandtech and ExtremeTech have to say about the various brands.

If things aren't lining up right, you may not be mounting the motherboard properly. Are you using the right standoffs and screws? You don't just screw the motherboard to the tray.

Wait a minute.
With no stand offs how did you get the computer to boot at all in the case?
It would have shorted out no matter what you did.
