Comparisons please

Hi there,

I currently have this computer:

3.2ghz 800fsb p4
1 gb corsair dual channel, except i dont have a dual channel mobo
nvidia 5950 ultra agp 8x
ASUS P4S800
ThermalTake 380 PSU

What I am willing to get:

4200+ AMD Dual Core Processor
ASUS A8N-SLI Premium Motherboard
Two Nvidia 6600 or 6800s
2 GBs Corsair MAYBE
SLI Compatible PSU ( need help deciding need budgetal)

Will there be big differences? if i get 1 video card? or if i get two?

You'll definitely see a difference if you're a gamer. The difference otherwise wouldn't be as big, but Dual Cores do increase multitasking performance.

My suggestion though would be to look at a single 7800 series card instead of the 6800s in SLI. The performance is the same and you'll be able to upgrade more easily down the road.
