question about the firewire connectors
The MOBO i got, here, has two interior 1394 (firewire) connectors. And the case i got has one firewire port with connecting wires.
Now what concerns me is that in the motherboard manual it labels the header with these: Ground, Ground, Ground, +12 V DC, +12 V DC, TPB-, TPB+, TPA-, TPA+. But the cables that come from the case are: Ground, Ground, TPA+, TPA-, TPB+, TPB-, VCC So what about the extra ground and the two +12 V DC connectors that the mobo has? and where does the VCC cable go that comes from the case? thanks alot, a little confused about this Last edited by djm227; 03-05-2006 at 06:43 PM. |

VCC is +12vdc. Ground is ground. Not all posts on the header will be used.
