Congrats Planenutok
I built my first PC a few years back and have built several since then. I would NEVER have attempted it if I hadn't found PCMech.

I thought i would have to post some questions here before i had it up and running due to this being my first build. Heck if i knew it was going to go this smoothly i would have built a comp a lot earlier. The only problem i ran across was one of my 2 graphics cards was bad but i stole the one out of my brothers comp, I just so happened to buy the same cards that he had. So now he is sitting around waiting for the rma card to return. ha. Thanks alot guys.

I hate to put a damper on your enthusiasm, but good luck keeping both those cards running with that power supply. It's not even ATX 2.0, much less SLI-ready or SLI-certified. Keep a real close eye on things.

Looks like a nice system.

Theres nothing better than the feeling you get after booting up your first build.

Very nice, enjoy. But as glc said, swapping out the power supply when you have some extra cash would not be a bad idea. The Antec TruePowerII 550watt would be a good bit safer. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817103931

Thanks for the replys. While buying the hardware i went a little over budget and went with a cheaper psu to save a little. It runs stable now and im not doing alot of hard gaming or ocing so hopefully this psu will last until i get a little more dough saved. Thanks for the suggestions.

I'm not trying to beat a dead horse here, but if you have to cut costs, the power supply is the wrong thing to cut on. It's just too important - if it overloads and fails, it can take other components down with it.

glc. thanks for the insight. As soon as i get my pay check this week that will be on the top of my list to purchase. I definately dont want to put any of my system at risk. If i can prevent future damage now i will definately spend a few extra dollars. Thanks
