Question Important mobo question! PLEASE help!

This is the motherboard I'm looking at getting.

Motherboard - ASUS A8N-SLI Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX AMD Motherboard
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131524
$115

and this is the case.

Case - Thermaltake XASER, Armor Series VA8000BWS Black Aluminum/Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811133154
$150

The case has 11 5.25 optical device slots.
and 6 slots for HDD

How many slots will the motherboard let me take advantage of?

and is there another motherboard that would allow me to take advantage of all the slots and 6 HDD?

please help!

Question How many devices do you need?!

The way I see it...

Storage Devices
PATA 2 x ATA100 up to 4 Devices
SATA II x 4

You can have four SATA HDD's and up to 4 ATA100 devices which can be either optical drives OR HDD's. But what are you worried about it for? Are you really planning on running more than that?! Oh, and for even more expansion, you can get a SATA RAID PCI card that will allow you to have even more HDDs. You might be able to get an expansion card for a PCI slot that will allow you to add more optical drives too but I'm not sure.

Something like this will let you add in more opticals: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16815124023

You can also get similar cards with SATA for hard drives.
