Help!

hi, i am building my first computer. i posted a while back about my bad bios chip. i sent that in and got it reflashed. now everytime i boot and try to enter setup, it says "CMOS SETTINGS WRONG" and "CMOS DATE/TIME NOT SET". i tried clearing the cmos by removing the battery and moving the jumper over many times. this has not worked for me at all. it also says "Chassis intrusion!" what exactly does this mean?

http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?t=132409 read that and try it. You could have a ground issue with your motherboard and case.

Then if that doesnt work you should look into RMAing your motherboard. Or tracking your problem to something else in the comp.

Chassis intrusion means that you opened the case, you can disable that feature if you don't want it. Your motherboard manual will tell you how to do it.
