Serious Video Problem..
I'm building my friend a PC, I turn it on and everything seems fine, the HDD is running, fans are spinning wild, and everything looks good but I turn on the monitor and it's black. The status light goes from green to orange. I have no idea what the problem is. I tried swapping out video cards and even messing with the RAM and which slots it's in. Please help.

Have you remembered to connect the 4 pin 12v power connector to your motherboard? FK

I tried looking for a place to connect it on the motherboard and I don't see one. This is the motherboard that's being used:

Being an older motherboard, it's entirely possible that connector is not needed.
What are the full specs of the components? Have you tried the out of case build I linked to? FK |

Power supply specs, please. Exact processor model, please.
That's a PC Chips board, by the way - also sold under the XFX and Pine brand names. Odds are fairly good that it's defective. |
