FIrst Build Issues
Me and my buddy are building our first computer together. Right now we are having a few problems. On boot up, nothing shows up at all, video card is getting power because the videocard heatseak is working.
Second problem is when i have the ribbon plugged into the cd-rom the cd-rom wont open, but when the ribbon is unplugged it will.. Odd? pls help!1 |

Welcome to PCMech. You may want to follow the advice found HERE in HAL's troubleshooting guide.
As for the CD-ROM, be sure you have the correct ends of the IDE cable to the mobo and optical drive and that you're jumpered correctly.
