i build pcs and resell them is it legal to cover up logo's

hi i build pc's amd resell them say i use a nzxt case is it legal to remove the nzxt logo and also say i use a roswell monitor is it legal to cover up that logo? thanks a bunch

Perfectly legal, same as a car customizer removing and smoothing badges.

I would say yes covering up is not illegal. But if you are saying the items are something they are not then that is misrepresentation and is fraud.

You couldn't say that it was a custom design of yours, but just to clean up the look or add your own badges since you bult the final system, that would be fine I'm sure.

When you think about how alot of brand PC components can be renamed to suit the company's logo (i.e. Dell LCD monitors being rebranded samsungs), Its not all much different.

This was only done with prior agreement between samsung and dell.
