Smile Final Build - Opinions

Hey Guys
I basically just want your opinions on my final build list which is set to be sorted in the easter holidays:

Case: Thermaltake Tsunami Dream Black Aluminium Case No PSU
http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/s...tml?TT-SDREAMB

PSU: ENERMAX Liberty 500 Watt Modular Power Supply
http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/s...html?ENE-EL500

Motherboard: ASUS P5LD2 P4 775
http://www.computerorbit.co.uk/Itemd...=P5LD2&eq=&Tp=

Really do not know much about motherboards but this seemed to support everything which i wanted ( Any ideas?)

CPU: INTEL P4 640 3.2GHz 800MHz 2MB 775
http://www.computerorbit.co.uk/Itemd...800640&eq=&Tp=

Graphics Card: 256MB NVIDIA GIGABYTE GEFORCE 6800GS SLI
http://www.computerorbit.co.uk/Itemd...0GSGIG&eq=&Tp=

DVD-RW: LITEON 16X D/L RETAIL (SHM160P6) & BEZEL
http://www.computerorbit.co.uk/Itemd...160P6S&eq=&Tp=

Hard Drive: 160GB MAXTOR SATA2 8MB
http://www.computerorbit.co.uk/Itemd...XSATA2&eq=&Tp=

Keyboard Mouse: LOGITECH RECHARGABLE CORDLESS DEKTOP BLK
http://www.computerorbit.co.uk/Itemd...HDTBLK&eq=&Tp=

Operating System: Windows XP Home OEM With Service Pack 2
http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/s...tml?MS-WXPHSP2

Well that is my system i will be purchasing a monitor with it eventually but will be using my LCD TV in the mean time. If you can enter in your opinions on the components i have chosen, on compatability for example, it would be greatly appreciated. Also if you think it will play games such as F.E.A.R well or not at quite high settings?

P.S Sorry about the GBP currency as i am from Britain, the choice of the computer orbit site is simply because it is near where i live and means access to easy returning

Thanks again
NUFC

for UK prices, try overclock.co.uk, i have got many a good deal from them. But most importantly, you havent got any RAM. Looking at your specs, you probably would be going for 1GB DDR2 ram. try crucial or corsair. I have had good experiences with corsair value ram, aswell as Kingston ram.

About the GeForce 6800GS ...

Currently the GeForce 6800GS is probably intended to compete with the new Radeon X1000 series, more precisely the Radeon X1600XT. Both products cost around the same dollar value, though when push comes to shove the 6800GS overwhelms the X1600XT in terms of performance.

I think unfortunately, ATi decided to cripple the X1600XT by limiting it to a 128-bit wide memory bus. This really kills the Radeon X1600XT and gives the 6800GS a real fighting chance.

Right there it is, the graphics card may be taken off later next week as at the moment it is only on a special and price may go out of my range by the time i want to purchase this basket. Otherwise i am open to any suggestions on compatability etc, thanks again guys

P.S thanks for telling me about the RAM almost forgot that

The only thing I'd consider changing is the motherboard - I really prefer Asus, I'd be looking at a P5LD2.
