Requirements for an SLi rig?
Hi, was just wondering coz i was surfin thru newegg.com yesterday. I found that there was an SLi ready RAM. Anyways, my question is, coz im not fully sure yet. Im planning on building a SLi ready system but i was wondering what the basic things u needed are. Here is what i know:
I know u need the 2 SLi ready video cards, SLi mobo, SLi powersupply, but do u need SLi ready RAM or can u buy regular Ram for cutting cost? What else do u need to build an SLi rig? thanks.

No you don't need special ram but you will have to pay attention to the cooling and space in the case.
Don't get obsessive, just look over the interior of the case with an eye as to how your motherboard and the fans, add-in cards and so on will fit. This is one of those times when you have to read at least a few of the customer reviews at newegg. If they all say SLi set-ups don't work in the box then don't buy it for your rig. If they're all having heat problems with that case likewise.
