Allright, I bult my new Pc its benn running for a couple months now, i realized when gaming that the Pc will shut off, it will never shut off when at a idle, but only when im pushing it, in order to keep the pc on i have to open um my window when i game to keep it cool, reason i think its overheating is simple, window shut, turns off, window open stays cool. The case temperature right now is at 12.5c, I think thats pretty cold, but hey it working, anyway the power supply, temperature is at 70.0c, it is infact flagging a warning, is that hot?. I have 2 PSU's, one a Rosewill 500w and a Stock one that came with my motherboard, both of wich flagg warnings.(Stock installed now)

What size case are you using?
How many case fans do you have installed? If you do have case fans installed, how are they setup? Front intake, rear exhaust? Cricket

Power supply temperature? Are you sure you don't mean CPU temperature? If so, 70C is WAY too hot and your heatsink is not correctly installed. I've never seen a power supply temperature monitor. Also, 12.5C case temp is bogus unless you have the computer inside a refrigerator.
Check your temperatures directly in the bios. Forget software monitors for right now. |

My question is now that, The only warning on the computer is the "Power / AUX temperature, what is that. I went into the bios and the CPU is at a Regular 32 degrees. up to 40 when playing, like i said before the AUX temperature is at 70 degrees. Do any of you know what that is. I have another questuon if that doesent help, 1 more thing, that 12 degrees case temp, that is because my window is open and i have a house fan blowing cold air into my room, and thats the only way it will say on while gaming. Its to hot when the sun is out so i have to wait till dark now.

Is that "aux temp" coming from a program in Windows or from the BIOS? If from the BIOS, it may be a mother board temp or a chipset. Check the chipsets for fans and that they are working. If it is from a program in Windows, could be a video card or a number of other things.
