Welcome to the forums, but I would say try not to bump a thread twice in the space of a couple of hours...there aren't that many Europeans on this forum and our timezone is rather different to the US!
That being said, it looks like a decent build. Just a few things to consider: 1. What brand/model motherboard is that? Your description only shows the chipset. 2. I'd go for a more reputable hard drive manufacturer than Samsung. I'd suggest a Seagate (ebuyer has the 250GB SATA version at just £62, which is a bit of a bargain). 3. I'd also be wary of using Media Centre edition. Although by no means an expert on it, I've heard that it can require quite specific hardware to work as it's supposed to. Perhaps another member could comment here, otherwise search on the net for Media Centre home builds. FK

Sorry, I'm actually in Malawi and forgot about the time zones.
The motherboard is a Gigabyte model (Socket 939). Originally I was going with Maxtor hard drives, but then was recommended Samsung. Now Seagate lol. Well Seagates are only £1 more expensive so I think I'll change them, unless anyone else objects. |

I've always been pleased with Gigabyte motherboards, I use the K8NXP-SLI in my main build. What exact model is the one you chose?
Seagate, Maxtor, and Western Digital are considered the top drive manufactuers. Seagates come highly recommended, because they come with 5 year warrenties, and their quality has been top notch recently. FK |

The exact model name is: K8NF-9. I'm not bothered about SLi, so that one seems to be OK for me.
