Another first time build up for the expert's approval
I've spent the last couple of months on this forum gaining a quite a bit of knowlegde. This is my first build and hopefully I absorbed much of the good info everyone has provided. My build is intended to be an HTPC hooked up to my Yamaha reciever/Bose System and JVC HD-ILA TV via DVI/HDMI. I will also use it for gaming, and the internet.

You might want to consider 16 MB cache hard drives. You will get better performance and the cost difference isn't much. Also, if its in the budget you might want to spring for 2GB ram now. But this depends on what type of gaming you might get into. Otherwise very good selection of parts. Should be a rockin system.

Have you heard of the open scource program, GB-PVR? It's a great alternitive to Sage or BeyoundTV. I'd take a look, and maybe give it a try before buying Sage. You can find it at www.gbpvr.com
