Question More questions about my PC build...

I had gotten my parts list double checked like a month ago or less, but now that it's been a few weeks, I've kept looking at different parts, and updated my list...
One of the main changes is I've switched from a Radeon X1900 to a Geforce 7900GT, as well as finding a SLI compatible motherboard and power supply. As far as I can tell, this saves me around $200 because the 7900GT is cheaper, but the specs seem the same (yes, I know it has no tuner, but I don't need one). I tried using the advice you guys gave me last time.. So hopefully I've chosen good parts.

Anyway the new list is:

Now for my questions:
1. Is everything compatible?

2. I've noticed there are several cards (X1900XTX or something) released that say they support Windows Vista. Does this mean if i get a card like the 7900GT that only has support for XP, I won't be able to upgrade to Vista without changing my graphics card? Speaking of Vista support, would the otherparts be compatible with Vista? Does it even matter for the parts whether I eventualy upgrade to Vista or not?

3. If I want to get a second SLI card in the future, will my motherboard and PSU support it?

4. Could you guys suggest any good LCD screens that are 17" or larger? What would you guys suggest? And does it matter if I get a widescreen lcd or not?

Everything looks good. The vista compatability issue has less to do with the video card and more the drivers. I would check to see if the latest nvidia drivers for the 7900GT support vista.

Your MB will support SLi. You will just have to purchase another 7900GT for SLi to work. The PS should be ok. I would go for a 600watt SLi certified.

There are hundreds of LCD screens to choose from. The brand dosen't matter (in most cases) as much as the Max resolution, refresh rate, DVI inputs. If you want a good gaming LCD monitor make sure it offers a high resolution, DVI input, and a refresh rate around 8ms.

I would get a 600watt PSU, but I'm not sure which to get. Last time, everyone told me to get an Antec PSU, and the highest watt PSU Antec makes seems to be 550watt. Is there another equaly good PSU company that has 600watt PSU's?

You don't need 600 watts. The Antec TruePower II 550watt will power that system very well. You only really need those huge 600watt PSUs if you are running 3 or 4 hard drives, a few optical drives, basicily loading up the case along with high end gaming parts. A 'normal' high end system will work just fine with the Antec.

As far as LCDs go, I really like Samsungs. Their new 730B (17") and 930B (19") monitors are great. These models are very fair priced, and have both VGA and DVI inputs. I also like Samsung because of the 5 monitors of theirs that I have bought, I have yet to get a dead pixal. That might be luck, but it's still a good avrage.
