Really, REALLY need some guidance!

Okay here's the rig that I've built:
Mobo: ABIT N18 Sli GR
CPU: P4 660
HDD: Maxtor 300Gg SATA
RAM: 2x512 Crucial & 2x512 Kingmax
GPU: Nvidea 7800GT (BFG Tech)
Case: Diabolic Custom case with 400W power supply
PSU: Enermax EG-851AX 660W ATXV2.0

Okay I built it about 4 weeks ago and after a few issues and a DOA everything was running fine. Have been playing different games on full grphics etc... and I love it!!!

I tried to upgrade it to an SLI rig. Checked on www.slizone.com for compatible Sli kit and bought another 7800GT GPU and a bigger PSU Enermax 600w. (Checked with ABIT and they said Enermax was fine).

It worked okay in the beginning but then I had stability issues which I think was due to the power. I leave it switched off overnight, start the next morning and the OS wouldn't even launch. No idea why.

Last weekend I switched back to normal mode since it's still a high spec system anyway and everything worked fine, games etc..

Tried to start it this week and it wouldn't even boot up at all. I changed the power supply to the 400W one that came with the case (because I know that worked) and it booted but the OS wouldn't launch. Turned off and now it's not even booting. The fans are working and there are no beeps.

Turned everything off, waited a while tried again - it booted but didn't launch the OS...

I'm just lost - sometimes it all works great and I can switch it on and off no problem. Now it's being so unpredictable....

Anyone have any tips??

Could me a MB issue. Especially if you are not getting a post. I would follow the troubleshooting guide at the top of this forum to determine if you have any bad parts.
