Rma?
I have been having problem with my pc shutting down and I have narrowed my problem to the power supply. It is only 4 1/2 months old and carries a 3 year warrenty. I have found that I need to request my RMA through Cooler Giant which is the USA Subsidiary of Enermax. I filled out their online RMA request form last friday and got an automatically generated message thatthey would contact me ASAP.
This is the first thing I've ever had to RMA, I guess I've been lucky. Ho does the process usually work? Has anyone dealt with Cooler Giant before; and if so how did it go? Basically I am wondering if I should be gearing up for a huge fight and/or a giant painful struggle. What are your thoughts? |

More than likely they'll give you instructions for returning the psu. They might ship the new one first so you won't be without a pc. You'll probably have to pay shipping to send the broken one back. Other than that, it's a guessing game as to how smooth the swap will go...
