CRASH Is this a good deal?

Hey! I am going to try to build a computer for the first time.
I'm thinking about buying a bare-bones kit from Tiger Direct. Here's the one I am considering: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...=M452-2436%20E

Its about $115 including shipping and gets me the mobo, case, cpu and heatsink. I already have a standard 80GB HDD, and a pulled CD-RW drive. So all I need to buy is RAM, correct? I plan on putting 98SE on it. I assume 98 will only 64GB, of it?

Is this a good deal?

Thanks!

If your not planning on using this for any high demand apps like video editing or gaming it would be ok. I would recommend newegg as I've had some bad purchasing experiences with Tiger.

It's an upgrade dead-end, Celeron CPUs aren't going to be blazing fast, VIA chipsets usually aren't the greatest, and who knows what brand the PSU is. I'll be honest, you get what you pay for. TigerDirect is also one of the worst places to shop at, their customer service is horrible:

I would really recommend upgrading to Win XP, it runs a lot better and you'll be able to run the latest software.

Before we get going anywhere, we need to know a couple things:

How much are you looking to spend?
What are you going to use the computer for?
What about a monitor, keyboard, etc?

Hmmm. I am building a computer for light internet use, and I am trying to do it as cheaply as possible. It seems this is about the best deal for a cheap little system. I have a $60 PSU I can use instead of the one.

THANKS!
