Putting in Memory

I'm putting in the memory and the manual confused me a little. I have 2x512 dual channel kit. (A85NX) do I put the two sticks side by side (one in the black slot/one in the blue slot(A1/A2)) or 1 stick in each Blue slot (labled dimm A1and dimm B1)?

Thanks.

Most likely one in each blue to enable dual channel.

ktkendall has the general idea.

If you want to be completely sure, look at your motherboard's manual, if your computer/motherboard came with one.

So far every Motherboard I have worked with that is dual channel capable has the diferent colored memory slots, and for dual channel you put matching pairs of memory modules in the matching colored slots.
