quality power supply?

i have heard that enermax makes good power supplies but pc power and cooling is even better? i am comparing the cheaper pc power and cooling supply to the enermax liberty 620watt modular power supply. the pc power and cooling power supply is rated at 510 watts but yet some say its better. why? if im going with a 7900gtx sli setup, asusa8n32 mobo, 10000rpm hdd and 2 dvd drives plsu case fans and 2gb ram what do i need? im loking for quality and reliability. i do find the 850 watt psu from pc power and cooling to be too expensive though.

While both of your choices are SLI certified, they are not on Nvidia's list for a 7900GTX SLI setup. Take a look at the list: http://www.slizone.com/object/slizone2_build.html

You'll need to choose a power supply from the section labeled: "Dual GeForce 7900 GTX or Dual GeForce 7800 GTX 512 MB*"

Anyone who buys an Enermax over a PCP&C unit is out of their mind

PCP&C units really are great... I find Enermax's are a little overrated personally. If you talk to any real PSU snobs on the internet they'll tell you there are only 3 main PSU manufacturers: PCP&C, Fortron and Zippy/Emacs.

Don'y get me wrong, I'm not saying Enermax's are bad units, they're a far cut above many others - it's just that those 3 are even better

Hi:

I'm using the 620W Liberty in both my main XP Pro SP2 and virtually identical
MS MCE2005 systems.

They are solid, cool and I can't hear them.

Happy trailz,
